Re: Book of James

A couple of weeks ago I had a dream that was pretty wild and at the end of it was vividly referencing the book of James. Over the next couple days I dug into that short book in the New Testament. It focuses on having faith and practicing your faith through action.

Fast forward to today, we go to church and Jack Graham is preaching. Lo and behold he is preaching from the book of James. Jack focused on a specific message from the book that focuses on asking the Lord, having faith in the Lord, and understanding that patience and temptations are something we should have joy in, because through the Lord we will overcome them.

“My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.”
‭‭James‬ ‭1‬:‭2‬-‭8‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Clancy mentioned it might be good for me to start documenting when these little things happen in life, when God is showing us and connecting the dots for us.
